8.8 Spark Plug Cables

PREPARE                                                                        ELECT RICAL CONTACT LUBRICANT (11300004)

1.   Remove main       fuse.   See POWER         DISCONNECT               b.   Connect terminal boots to spark plugs (3).
     (Page 8-4).
                                                                          c.   Connect cable coil ends (1) to ignition coil (2).

REMOVE

                         a WARNING
Disconnecting spark plug cable with engine running can
result in electric shock and death or serious injury.

                          NOTE
Do not remove spark plug wires while engine is hot.

1.   See Figure 8-24. Remove spark plug cables.

     a.   Remove cable coil ends (1) from ignition coil (2).

     b.   Remove terminal boots (4) from spark plugs (3).

     c.   Remove cables.
