7.8 Coolant Overflow Tank

COOLANT OVERFLOW TANK                                                                                                       7.8

PREPARE                                                               d.   Press coolant overflow tank in place on battery tray
                                                                           (6).
1.   Remove main fuse. See POWER DISCONNEC T                          e.   Fill coolant overflow tank with coolant.
     (Page 8-4).

2.     Remove skid plate. See SKID PLATE (Page 3-92).

3.     Remove voltage regulator and bracket. See VOLTAGE
       REGULATOR (Page 8-13).

REMOVE

1.     Remove coolant overflow tank.

       a.   Figure 7-12 Disconnect coolant overflow hose (2)
            from radiator.

       b.   Remove coolant overflow tank (1) from grommet (5).

       c.   Drain coolant from tank.

       d.   Remove clamp (4).                                         2.   Coolant overflow hose
                                                                      3.   Tape
       e.   Remove coolant overflow hose from coolant overflow        4.   Clamp
            tank and tape (3).                                        5.   Grommet

1.     Install coolant overflow tank.

Clean area where tape is to be placed.
