1.   Set motorcycle upright. See Secure the Motorcycle for
     Service (Page 2-2).

2.   See Figure 2-24. Verify that jiffy stand (4) swings freely to
     fully extended and retracted positions.

3.   Inspect parts for wear or damage. Replace as necessary.

4.   Inspect bumper (2) for looseness. Replace as necessary.

5.   Lubricate pivot pin (1) and spring hooks (3).                        1.    Pivot pin
